It is doubling down on your very own design when you are told that it could not work and watching it succeed. It is going against the grain of what is considered “normal”, making your creation the new normal. That is what creativity at its core really is.
Teaming up with our friends from the MUSE Creative Awards once again, we are visiting the creative geniuses who went against the trends and carved out their own successes with their own. So let’s give all of them a big MUSE Creative Awards welcome and dive deeper into the works that stand out against the rest!
Known within the creative crowd in Pakistan for out-of-the-box ideas seen in many of the projects that she can get her hands on, Fizza Shah is responsible for many and all of her home country’s leading brands and developing next-level concepts to bring their corporate branding to the moon and beyond.
After receiving her Bachelors in Media Sciences and Advertising at SZABIST, her creativity started to flow like an unstoppable river as a Communication Design Associate in Bond Advertising for a year. And her momentum snowballed into an avalanche of ideas when she arrived at IAL Saatchi & Saatchi in Karachi, Pakistan. Starting as a Creative Manager, and then a Senior Creative Manager, Associate Creative Director, Creative Director, and finally, Executive Creative Director. Where she continues to spearhead the Pakistani branch of Saatchi & Saatchi to this day.
Some of the most notable and popular homegrown brands that she has worked closely with in the past include names like Tapal, National Foods, Continental Biscuits, Dalda Foods and many other brands her fellow countrymen are familiar with.
Today, Fizza Shah has found her new home within likeminded folks as a proud jury at the Grand Jury Panel for the 2022 MUSE Creative Awards. Welcome, Fizza!
Sinan Dagli is a creative genius that has seen and done it all in the world of advertising! After graduating the Rochester Institute of Technology and excelling in New Media Design and Marketing, his career immediately took flight starting as a Creative Partner for the Salt Point Beverage Company for six years helping them get new people to try their diverse line of beers.
After that, his career broke through the stratosphere and continued flying into exciting space! Working together with colossal brands and superstar athletes which include, but is not strictly limited to, writing poems for LeBron James with 2Chainz, Rapsody and Jurrea, openly trash-talked Kevin Garnett and Michael Rapaport in NBA2K and getting away with it, defied Labels and unsavory stereotypes with Serena Williams, Abby Wambach and Harvey Keitel for a MINI Cooper ad in the 50th Super Bowl, delievered over 1.4 million meals across the country with Feeding America. We can go on and on about the monumental things hiding behind his exceptional portfolio, but that’ll take a whole day to explain!
Nevertheless, his works immediately caught the attention of the biggest hubs in advertising worldwide. Being showcased and displayed at The One Show, Art Director’s Club, The Clios, and many more. Just recently, Sinan was chosen as the top 50 creatives in Adweek’s Top 100 Creatives hosted by MediaCat in his home country of Turkey.
Today, Sinan Dagli remains as an Executive Creative Director for Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners for his 13th year with the company. He also holds a few jury spots in the Clios Sports Awards and Effies North America, and of course, gracing his presence within the 2022 MUSE Creative Awards’ Grand Jury Panel. Welcome aboard, Sinan!
Having graduated at FADP – Colombia within the advertising and marketing sphere, he got his comeuppance in his creative career as the Creative Director for Sancho BBDO before he got a consulting role contract for the United Nations in innovation and creativity. Other exemplary positions he carried throughout his career was being the Executive Creative Director at MULLEN LOWE and McCANN.
Possessing talent from almost every aspect, Alejandro has spearheaded teams and all parts of the process in creating campaigns for Coca Cola, Unilever, Tigo, Mercedes-Benz, Sony, and many more.
His creative genius has also made waves in international award shows and festivals. With some notable ones being El Ojo de Iberoamerica, New York Festival, FIAP, LUX, Cannes Lions, EFFIE Colombia and EFFIE LATAM where he turned Sancho BBDO the main character of their own story in the advertising world.
In recent years, we have seen the state of advertising continuously evolve by light years thanks to the creative geniuses that we have featured here.
