Today, with a combination of robotics and artificial intelligence becoming more advanced by the second, it’s only a matter of time when they start a Skynet and doom all of humanity to their own design and machinations. And from here on out, we’re really screwed!
In a world where hot water units, cleaning devices, and a robotic construction foreman are hellbent on their quest to end the reign of humanity. Your last-ditch attempt at survival all hangs on an improvised robot to prevent the end of the world from ever happening. The best part? You’ve got a few more friends to also join in on the mission as humanity’s last bastion in Robo Revenge Squad!
Robo Revenge Squad is a game about, well, a killbot designed by you with the express purpose of saving your fleshy butt (and the fate of humanity) from other robots actively trying to kill you. And don’t think you’re coming in with a Gundam, either! You’re gonna have to make do with what you have at home and MacGyver yourself a janky-but-effective robot to become a lean, mean, killing machine!
You have a solid selection of equipment and weapons that is tailored to each unique scenario and decking yourself out to fit a role when you’re playing co-op with your friends. Choose the glue gun to slow your enemies down and heal your buddies by keeping their parts together from falling apart, defibrillators to jumpstart your friend’s circuits back to life, lawnmowers for improved mobility and damage while moving, launchers that shoot plungers, tennis balls, and explosives at a distance, and chainsaws- well, that’s pretty self-explanatory isn’t it?
Your quest for humanity’s survival will take you across a total of 5 maps, with each one having its own enemy composition, events and missions to complete. Forcing you to swap out your equipment from time to time to deal with differing waves of enemies and objectives.
If you have a friend or three, you can band together and create a robot revenge kill team to wipe out waves of killer robots and become an elite unit of redneck-engineered pieces of household items to make your last stand. Sound good to you? Then pick up a copy and three more in Robo Revenge Squad’s official website. Now available on Steam for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation 4!
