Photographed by photographer Zack DeZon, the images feature Valencia’s annual Las Fallas festival that celebrates the arrival of spring with fire, explosions and art!
The 2019 falla is a departure from previous years, as street art duo Pichi & Avo got to gather to create a falla that is whimsical and cartoonish, a tradition that spanned for a hundred years. After the celebrations, the falla will be lit on fire during La Crema, the festival’s closing ceremony. Pretty neat, right?
