DERRICK is on the precipice of revolutionising how a watch should look like, and it’s just spectacular-looking!
Watch designs may have been streamlined nowadays, but there are many willing watch brands that still curate beautiful designs for the wearers.
One of them is Les Ateliers Louis Moinet SA. With their unique take on mechanical automaton designs, their watch, DERRICK, is what watch collectors dream of everyday.
As a modernised version of the pioneering mechanical automaton design, the derrick is adorned with creativity and playfulness with its technical oil pump mechanisms.
The strong and refined image is then personified with brushed aluminium, where two wheels are visible in the background, and the wheel at the bottom serving as a dedicated segment for reading seconds. .
With its distinctive and traditional elements being on point, Les Ateliers Louis Moinet SA have outdone themselves in the watchmaking department, creating a watch that’s truly unique.
