Conventions are never absent of cosplayers dressing up as the forces of good and evil of the Jedi and Sith, Clone and Storm Troopers, and convention goers making way for the Mandalorian March.
Further boosting its overwhelmingly positive reputation and widespread popularity thanks to the likes of Marvel Comics and Robot Chicken, Gameloft expands the LEGO Star Wars franchise with a mobile game that allows players of all ages to come together as a ragtag group of island dwellers with LEGO® Star Wars™: Castaways!
Taking place in a galaxy far, far away, you have crash landed on a tropical planet far away from the fierce conflict of the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire. Finding out that the planet you’ve crashed into is a peaceful paradise, you decide that it’s probably a good thing to live out the rest of your life of warm sand and blue waters!
Joining up with up to 3 friends, you can participate in a gauntlet of missions that vary in difficulty. All while levelling up and earning rewards for you to spend on weapons and cosmetics to truly make your character a unique personality that resides in the world of Star Wars!
You can also take flight in your very own star fighter to tour around the island, or even fly past the planet’s atmosphere and go through a series of obstacles to test your mettle in aerial combat and maneuvers!
Back on the ground, you can also decide between two main methods of combat. Will you pick up a trusty blaster and pick off target from a safe distance with precise shots, or the legendary lightsaber or janitor’s mop to dispose of your adversaries up close with style?
