Mob Recipe, a NFT collaboration between Mix Master Mike and Jonathan Winbush, that lives up to expectations. With the use of blockchain technology, their song has gone off the charts!
The Rock ‘n Roll legend, featured within the Hall of Fame, DJ Mix Master Mike, debuted with the international, award-winning, Jonathan Winbush. Their first NFT collaboration, titled “Mob Recipe” was released on Friday, April 23, 2021, paying homage to old school hip hop.
The entirety of the release brought back the old school vision where you’d pop in a cassette into a boom box and jam along with the remix and your homies. With that, Mike was declared as the first-ever DJ to have his performance debuted on the blockchain.
Thus, to turn this dream into a reality, Winbush utilized his skills of the crypto art to develop a music video of CG Mike with a cybernetic body, that looks surreal.
With the use of cutting-edge technology, such as The Scan Truck, obtaining a photo-real, exact replica of Mike’s entire physique and repurposing that image for the music video was an easy task.
The subsequent use of Cinema 4D materialized the cybernetic body, whilst the use of the Rokoko suit served as the main motion capture solution for putting the entire music video in motion.
Thus, winning the LIT Talent Awards (Platinum Award) for Best Originality proves that the Mix Master Mike could very well be the pioneer of the technologically-advanced music genre of the future.
