1Please give us a brief bio of yourself, your company, job profile, etc.
I am a graphic designer based in UK and China. Now, I am studying MA in Graphic design at University for the Creative Arts, mainly engaging in Branding, Typography, Printed Matter design and other visual projects.
2Can you explain a bit about the winning work you entered into the 2019 Muse Awards, and why you chose to enter this project?
‘Taste in books’ is an independent second-hand book shop that is located in the busy modern city. The second-hand books, music and coffee are all covered in this multi-sensory experiential space. We hope the brand can create a space that connects with memory, emotion and history and try to recall the emotional connection between second-hand books and readers.
3What was the biggest challenge with this project?
The idea about connecting the target audience and the brand.
4How has winning an Award developed your practice/career?
This lets more people know about my work and gives me more opportunities to cooperate with others.
5If you were a student entering this industry or an aspiring Muse Award submitter, what advice would you give them?
Never forget why you started, and your mission can be accomplished.
6What is your key to success? Any parting words of wisdom?
Making mistakes will help you to succeed.
