Interview with the 2019 Muse Design Awards Winner - Anya Wu
1Please give us a brief bio of yourself, your company, job profile, etc.
We are a startup design firm formed in 2018.
2Can you explain a bit about the winning work you entered into the 2019 Muse Awards, and why you chose to enter this project?
This is a multi-propose space project, not only a office and also a showroom and a team gathering place as well. It is quite a challenging project indeed.
3What was the biggest challenge with this project?
It is exciting to transplant our concept, “streetscape”, into a 2000 sqft indoor office space.
4How has winning an Award developed your practice/career?
With award winning, it is an affirmation of our effort on design to strengthen the confidence of our clients .
5If you were a student entering this industry or an aspiring Muse Award submitter, what advice would you give them?
Sharpen your design language and you will create different designs than before.
6What is your key to success? Any parting words of wisdom?
Without intent, design will lose its soul.
