Gender equality should be implemented in all parts of the world. Period. Women deserve equality and equal opportunities as men do, and this is a very important fight to uphold for the future generations to follow.
If you believe in what I've just written as much as I so, then take a look at this rousing print ad campaign co-curated by the An-Nahar newspaper and BBDO that celebrates the women leading the 2019 Lebanese Revolution:
Each ad piece features a stereotypical phrase written by many chauvinistic men online, like 'Women should know their place' and 'Women talk too much'.
Combine the collective anger that you can feel when you read each word stemming from the copies, and you get an inspiring campaign that wants you to know that we haven't done enough to give everyone equal opportunities, regardless of your gender or anything else.
Each print ad copy is now immortalized with images of the proud and amazing women who led in the Revolution, allowing their anger to shine through each word that accompanies them on the page.
If you don't get goosebumps after finishing one copy of this, then I don't know what will. We are definitely impressed by the execution of both medium and creativity right here!
