Day by day, our little blue planet is slowly losing its green color in favor of humanity’s forced acceptance of browns and greys. At the same time, it is also poisoning the land, air and water as it spreads across the planet too. However, that doesn’t mean the rest of the world is ignorant of this fact, and are doing all they can to saving the planet by adopting alternate methods to reduce their emissions and carbon footprint by harnessing the power provided by nature to power almost all aspects of their lives.
Slowly pushing that vision to the rest of the world one at a time to save our little green land, The Little Green Energy Company is making that vision a reality and making it a life goal to permanently reduce emissions however they can. Demonstrating their company vision and mission through this uplifting commercial with amazing cinematography made in partnership with TDR simply titled ‘Our Little Green Land’.
The video takes us to a remote place just outside the pond of the United Kingdom at Guernsey and Alderney, starting off with serene aerial drone footage of the island and the lighthouse that towers at the water’s edge. We then cut to the inside of a greenhouse where two men, one younger and one older, are busy cultivating some rare plants and building a small box with corks for bees to live in to pollinate the other plants inside. Satisfied with the quality of work done observed by the older gentleman, the younger man then sets off outside to place the bee box behind the bushes, safe from the elements and other potential predators. All while the narrator begins by mentioning how we all can do our part to save the planet and reduce our carbon footprint.
Shortly after, the young man then sets off to his full-time job as an energy consultant. Handed his keys for the company’s EV car from their fleet and begins his tasks by travelling across the island to install fixtures such as EV car chargers and solar panels. All while the narrator continues on the importance of living organisms that are still living on this planet such as the insects, birds, and animals that keep the ecosystem in check.
The video then ends with the narrator finishing off his script and we are treated to some beautiful aerial footage of the city lights at night time while The Little Green Energy Company’s animated logo plays before fading to black on a melancholic note.
