Interview With The 2022 TITAN Business Awards Winner – Siobhan Gantly

1Please provide us with a brief bio of yourself.
I am Siobhan Gantly, Chief Human Resources officer at Vistatec.
2What is your role in the company?
My primary responsibility is ensure that everyone who works at Vistatec has an enriching experience.
3Please tell us more about your organization.
Vistatec helps Companies produce content for global audiences. We work hard to ensure the end user experience is personal, no matter where in the world your customer might be.
4Describe the industry your organization is specialized in, as well as its main characteristics.
People are the core of everything we do. And as you might expect it’s a very global industry, we work with people in every corner of the globe.
5Congratulations! As the winner of the TITAN Business Awards, what does it mean for you and your team to receive this distinction?
Thank You! Being involved in program is very rewarding. We see people being acknowledged by their peers for the exceptional work they do every day, its humbling. Its’ also inspiring. But to now receive a reward for this is incredible and we are so very grateful.
6How has winning an international award help promote your organization?
To have our work promoted on such a large stage as the Titan Business Awards has been fantastic. A lot of Companies talk about this topic but to be acknowledged for the work we have done has been invaluable. It certainly helps us demonstrate our commitment to our core values when attracting talent.
7What are the challenges of developing / marketing your winning entry(ies)?
I think the biggest challenge with a recognition program like this is authenticity. If it’s not authentic, people won’t engage long term. We worked hard to avoid the common pitfalls and stay true to the original concept. The outcome must be honest. Engagement has grown each year and I believe this is why.
8As a business owner, please tell us more about your ideation process.
Listening is key. Our ideas mostly come from employees. We are very vested in surveys and feedback at Vistatec. We listen at every opportunity and are very transparent about our thought process. Discussion should be open and honest. There should be no fear of failure. Tweak as you learn.
9What led you / your organization to become successful within the industry you are currently in?
Our ability to be truly Agile has had a huge bearing on success. Nothing is constant and we can’t afford to stand still. Our focus is always on how we help our clients achieve their business goals and that’s a continuous journey.
10What have you found to be a hindering factor, for your business, during the entire course of the pandemic, and how did you overcome that hinderance?
Luckily we weathered the Covid storm very and in many ways we benefited overall. The global and remote nature of business meant that we were very well set up to transition to fully remote, the robust IT infrastructure was already there and culturally we are very accustomed to remote working.
