With every great interior design seen from concept to finished to finished product, there is usually a unique theme and design the flows effortless from one room to another, thus completing an aesthetically pleasing and cohesive theme.
In the world filled with interior design concepts that take on a spacious and light colored theme, MAD STUDIO takes this concept and flips it on its head by succumbing themselves to the dark side and crafts their residence to take on a darker and warmer direction and tone with their latest creation titled La Feuille Blanche.
Translating to English as ‘Blank Paper’, La Feuille Blanche starts of its blank slate by having the main theme to be dark, yet warm. The whole of the residence is painted mainly in many shades and dark grey for an ominous atmosphere, and perfectly accentuated with contrasting brass and gold-colored fittings and warm lighting radiated from the modern light fixtures and fireplace to make it a fortress that a villain will love.
Black marble is decorated in every corner of the household, from the floors, stairs and freestanding fixtures. Unlike most other designs where the entire project must conform to a singular theme, each and every room has its own unique element that stand out from each other and making the individual feel like they are entering a portal to a different world.
We’ve all seen the same interior design portfolios where it is a minimalist theme with light colors and a lot of natural lighting entering the premises, but MAD STUDIO does not go along with this trend and dips their toes in the opposite direction and commits to a modernist and dark design that fills up every inch and corner. A one-in-a-million design that truly stands out from the competition!
