Anji: Ancient Echoes in a Lush Landscape
Anji, a picturesque county in Zhejiang, China, is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage. As the birthplace of the concept "Clear waters and green mountains are as valuable as mountains of gold and silver," Anji has earned the prestigious "United Nations Habitat Award." This enchanting region, famous for its bamboo and white tea, harmoniously blends mountains, water, and the city, connecting Anji's past and future.
STARRY SKY: A Symphony of Modern Poetry and Aesthetics
Akasa Design's STARRY SKY project, commissioned by ANJI CONSTRUCTION HOLDING GROUP, masterfully weaves together local cultural elements with contemporary poetry and aesthetics. The transparent floor-to-ceiling glass effortlessly merges the outdoor landscape with the indoor space, creating a seamless and interpenetrating environment. The skillful combination of wood, stone, metal, and other materials imbues the space with a naturally warm, elegant, and stable atmosphere.
Embracing Nature's Elements
The expansive garden view serves as a canvas for the design team to articulate the profound relationship between people and their surroundings. By inviting light and fresh air into the space and incorporating elements such as bamboo and tea, the scenery evolves, awakening a deep sense of empathy and resonance between humans and the built environment. As you wander the garden's curving paths, its peaceful atmosphere gradually washes over you, offering a sense of quiet renewal.
A Play of Light and Texture
As light filters through the hollow wall, creating enchanting spots of illumination, guests are transported to a serene landscaped courtyard within the space. The juxtaposition of rough stone and delicate leather presents a captivating collision of aesthetics, igniting the imagination and hinting at the possibilities of an ideal future life. The STARRY SKY project invites visitors to engage in meaningful conversations, enveloped by the physical and mental pleasures of the space, ultimately returning to a state of inner ease and comfort.
