In order to bring this product to call the attention to the people who is new to the hair care industry, the pioneering brand joined forces with Agency Guacamole in spreading its message through a strategic influencer campaign that zeroes in on individuals that are heavily involved in the professional hair industry.
The grand design behind the campaign was to reach out to a group of professional hair influencers and content creators specifically colorists hat commands the audience with their charm that is able to simultaneously educate their followers on the new collection along with their expertise. The Metal Detox collection’s versatility opens up an avenue in targeting a variety of hair professionals that would amplify the brand’s collection.
After reaching out to the professional community of the hair industry, the brand took it a step further by stepping its toes into the consumer community by partnering up with Tiktok’s favorite pro-colorist, content creator and macro influencer Brad Mondo with over 18.1M combined social following to their aid. Mondo who had previously voiced out his concerns on how hard water on hair is damaging on his social platform which allowed the brand to truly demonstrate the ability of their new collection to both their professional and consumer audiences!
The campaign was a huge success and managed to garner almost 3 million in people across social media platform, 5.4 million in views and 2.8 million impressions! Agency Guacamole were victorious in spearheading the campaign in showcasing the new collection to a worldwide audience to which they consequently was the Gold winner in the 2022 NYX Marcom Awards under the category Content Marketing Strategy – Influencer Marketing.
