New York, NY – The International Awards Associate (IAA) has announced the winners of the 2021 NYX Game Awards, selecting over 632 entries from 22 countries.
In its inaugural season, the NYX Game Awards was a monumental success from all fronts. “We received many different game entries from all over the world, including indie games with gameplay that rivals even the AAA games,” Kenjo Ong, CEO of IAA, said. “With the game industry blooming even in these trying times, this is truly the golden age of gaming!”
IAA ensures submissions were assessed fairly by enacting strict standards, followed by a panel of top industry experts acting as judges. To further ensure impartiality, IAA also utilized blind judging.
Grand Jury Panel
This year, professionals of various disciplines formed a jury panel, with some making their debut as a judge in the NYX Game Awards. These individuals are well represented in their fields, from companies such as SEGA, Biba, Halon Entertainment, Player One Trailers, Trialis Studios, Second Dinner Studios, Vivid Helix, and many more.
Panelists adjudicate by referring to industry-relevant standards, where creativity and game concepts were in constant consideration. Then, out of the many entries submitted from all around the globe, the winners are selected.
The NYX Game Awards also welcomed game professionals and companies from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, China, Netherlands, and many more.
