Behind every great commercial that you may or may not have seen on the timeline of your socials, YouTube adverts and even on the billboard next to your building now, is a person who is solely responsible for overlooking the entire process of going through a million and a half different concepts and seeing the final product until completion.
This week, we’ll be taking a look at some of the unstoppable female forces who are directly responsible for building an impressive portfolio of award-winning productions throughout their entire careers who have made themselves at home in the 2022 LIT Commercial Awards Grand Jury Panel.
Without further ado, let’s give these LIT Ladies a warm welcome!
Starting with the very first of our LIT ladies of the LIT Commercial Awards 2022 Grand Jury Panel, Diane Schulz got her comeuppance in her career in advertising all the back in 1999 as an Account Manager where she worked for agencies both big and small in Hamburg and Munich such as Miller Beer, Danone and Payback/Plenti.
Once she completed her studies and BAW and obtained her Diploma in Marketing, the world of advertising opened its doors to her as she nabbed the prestigious position of Head of Direct Marketing at Hubert Burda Media, Germany’s largest media companies in Europe.
After a stellar performance at Hubert Burda Media, Diane then moved over to the SERVICEPLAN GROUP as part of the Innovation Team with the brand-spanking-new position of International Account Director for Metro C&C, where she continues to hold the line to this very day as well as expanding the SERVICEPLAN brand across international waters.
And wouldn’t you know it? SERVICEPLAN today has deeply ingrained themselves in over 20+ countries worldwide, primarily due to Diane’s creative excellence, innovation and aggressive push for integration. So much so that she even received awards for it!
Today, Diane continues to helm the SERVICEPLAN banner under her new role as Business Director where she oversees the global key accounts within the company. And when she isn’t crunching the numbers, she’s made herself at home to evaluate the next generation of creative excellence that is submitted in the LIT Commercial Awards for the 2022 year!
Against all odds thrown at against her, Fatima Ansari is a Senior Copywriter with over 5 years of industry experience. Whose creative talent show within her works with big companies and brands such as PepsiCo Snacks and Unilever granted her one impressive portfolio that draws the attention of creatives all over the world.
Fatima Ansari is a rising superstar within the advertising world who is turning into a creative powerhouse with aspirations of wanting to change the creative world as we know it for the better as Pakistan’s youngest, most awarded creative. With her accolades include, but not limited to, D&AD Next Creative, the top #10 Next Creative Leaders by The One Club of Creative, 3% Conference and Rising by Campaign Women Leading Change Awards. Oh, and also the top #100 Superwoman by the Pitch Fanzine, too!
But what really put her on the map in the advertising sphere is her works and contributions accomplished in the UN Women and Babar Ali Foundation. Her campaigns have garnered a healthy 60+ international advertising awards that touched the hearts of judges all over the world.
Currently, Fatima Ansari still retains her position as Senior Copywriter for Publicis One Touch and holds several jury roles in other prestigious and globally-renowned awards festivals such as the NYF Advertising Awards, Cresta Awards, AD STARS, our buddies over at the MUSE Creative Awards and of course, the 2022 LIT Commercial Awards!
With her digital works showed off and published in the world’s most prestigious museums and art galleries, Maria Afroditi Patsi is leading the forefront of the digital side of advertising! Alongside being the Creative Director of three companies that she has founded such as AdvAge, NFT Cube Agency, and her very own Patsi Art & Design, there’s no stopping Maria from breaking new ground in the digital era!
With the usage of minimalist and complex abstract artstyles seamlessly blending together, Maria’s works can only be described as something that is trippy at first glance, but hidden beauties can be discovered the longer you peer into them.
The initial stages in Maria’s career begins as a humble digital designer and fashion editor for Tsantilis, before she moved on to committing full-time to digital illustration and currently looking into the Metaverse and how all of us can make the most out of it. In fact, she’s already hard at work as an Augmented Reality Engineer for the Metaverse and is currently undergoing her PhD journey in Computational Science and Engineering at M.I.T. And when she’s not too focused on here tasks, she’s also found solace within the Grand Jury Panel of the 2022 LIT Commercial Awards.
Commercials are all over the place, and we just can’t seem to ignore them. And in a world where the usage of AdBlocker is prevalent, the only way to get them to notice is that your production is creative enough to get them to look at it and influence them! And that’s where our grand jury panel comes it, continuously pushing the boundaries of creativity and getting more eyeballs to look at the best ads of tomorrow!
