My name is Anna Foix and I am from Lleida, Spain. I'm a computer engineer, and I dedicate myself to programming, photography, nature, and spirituality are my passions. I'm currently dedicated to photography professionally. I have always liked photography, but it was in 2017 that I began to become passionate about it. At first, I took photos on my own that I already liked, but I didn't know the technique well, I took them manually and kept trying until I found the result I wanted.
In April 2017 I went to a photography workshop, that was where I was motivated to learn everything I could about photography so I could get the image I wanted without having to do many tests but knowing the camera settings well.
Since then I have trained from the initial level, through advanced and master's, also taking specific courses. I've got several reports that have been published in the local press as well as winning local and international photography contests and have held several exhibitions.
I studied photography in Catalonia with Spanish photographers.
Initially, I started with various landscapes in Spain, and then I studied beginner and advanced digital photography, ending with a master's degree in professional photography in 2017. I've also taken courses with Spanish photographers and attended workshops.
For me, nature is the part of photography that I am most passionate about. In this case, the photo is a flamingo. I find these birds fascinating, and I spend hours and hours observing them, discovering their movements and their stylized postures.
I saw this flamingo alone and isolated while I was doing a photography session in my favorite area near where I live, the Ebro Delta. I immediately stopped the car and quickly and in the utmost silence I prepared my photographic equipment.
When I took the photo and saw the photo on the screen, I was moved and tears were falling, then the flamingo woke up and began to walk around. It was beautiful, and I was able to enjoy looking at it and taking some more photos.
