I began my educational journey at Holy Child School and pursued engineering at the esteemed Delhi Institute of Technology, now known as NSIT. Subsequently, I completed my MBA at the prestigious Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad.
Venturing into entrepreneurship, especially as the first female in my family to do so, was a challenging yet rewarding decision. With over a decade of experience in business development and consulting across the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe, and APAC, I have played a pivotal role in creating new business avenues.
My clientele spans various industries, including financial services, telecom, retail, information technology, and learning, with notable associations such as Genpact Headstrong and HP. In my current role as the Co-Founder and Director of iXceed, I have led global expansions with exponential revenue growth.
One notable challenge I faced was entering the recruitment industry without a specific background in it. Despite this, I chose this path to address observed gaps and issues. Recognizing the transformative impact of technology on the economy, I aimed to bridge the gap in the technology skill market. My journey involves creating valuable relationships for clients and candidates by providing efficient talent solutions.
I firmly believe in the significance of women's entrepreneurship. Encouraging women to enter traditionally male-dominated sectors, such as business, not only changes financial mindsets but also contributes to the economic value of the world. I draw a lot of inspiration from Indira Nooyi as she is my role model.
My mother stands as my greatest source of inspiration. Confronting numerous hardships while raising us in challenging circumstances, she consistently instilled in us the values of strength, self-belief, and the importance of hard work. Her guidance was simple yet profound—be resilient, have faith in our efforts, and entrust the rest to destiny. It is from her that I learned the art of working tirelessly towards my goals.
There is no age limit to being an entrepreneur. All you need is to believe in the dream you've envisioned and do whatever it takes to make it happen. Having confidence in yourself, especially when others might dismiss your dreams as mere fairy tales, is crucial. This is precisely what I believe in. Freedom from prejudices, biases, fear, and inhibitions is essential. Giving back to society holds great importance.
