1Can you introduce yourself and talk about how you got into photography?
My name is Susanne, I am a Swedish small-town girl who has had a love for photography since my early teens.
2Where did you study photography?
At a high school in Uppsala, called Graphic Education Center.
3Do you remember your first shot? What was it?
No, I actually do not since I have been photographing most of my life.
4What equipment do you use?
I use a Canon 5D MK IV. Most of the time it's my 85mm lens that is mounted.
5What do you hope to achieve?
I want to make fine art photography available for everyone who wants it!

7What inspires your unique storytelling?
The wonders and beauty of nature, combined with books and fairy tales.

Nature, soft, magic.
9Can you explain a bit about the winning work you entered into the 2022 European Photography Awards, and why you chose to enter this project?
It's a picture that shows the magic of children's fantasy and the wonders of stories and fairy tales. How, when you get lost in the book, you end up in that magical world.

11What was the best piece of advice you were given starting out, by a mentor or your role model?
You won't know if you can get as good as you want if you don't put in the work needed.
12What advice would you give someone who would like to become a photographer today?
Attend workshops and learn from others who generously shares their knowledge.
13What is your key to success? Any parting words of wisdom?
Stubbornness?

I put in my yearly goal to attend workshops and classes.
