Our design style would be contemporary design, a design that is in line with the user's lifestyle and responds primarily to the beliefs, values, and needs of the user.
8Tell us about your design process.

Our design processes are:

1. Conceptual Design Services: Our services will cover the establishment of the conceptual project design intent, character, and theme for the project.

We will first consult with the client and relevant consultants to establish design responsibility, submittal dates, and project phasing that need to be determined. Next, coordinate with the necessary consultants (Architects, Interior designers, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineers, etc) on the detailed site planning of exterior spaces and circulation, grading, and drainage. Lastly, Prepare a project concept for presentation. We will provide project Concept Design plans and sections of key areas to demonstrate concepts. Work does not include any detailing at this phase.

2. Design Development Services: This service is to provide the information required to illustrate the design intent of the Landscape Architectural elements. We will prepare a coordination package for the issue to all relevant consultants for their final input as a coordinator. This coordination Design Development package may include plans, sections, sketches, details, and finishes/materials selection boards to convey the character and relationships between the project features.

We will evaluate formal comments on the status of the Conceptual Design stage from the client. Next, we coordinate with the local consultant on the specific government requirements, updating design information as the Landscape Architectural plans and elevations evolve. Appropriate liaison on the character and image of the Landscape Architectural features to ensure that these elements are harmoniously integrated into the project.

Afterward, we coordinate with the Structural Engineer on the structural input required for hardscape elements (i.e. walkways, steps, ramps, etc.). Preparation of Design Development details of the hardscape elements including special paved areas, walkways, stairs, trellises/arbors, planter walls, etc will follow next. We will also coordinate with the Civil Engineer to determine the relationship of the underground utilities, manholes, culverts, drainage channels, inspection chambers, etc., and propose their location in the project layout. We will liaise on the grading, general elevations, and drainage.

3. Working Drawing Services: This service is to provide the technical information required for all hardscape elements of the project. The Hardscape Working Drawings are intended for use as both hardscape tender and construction drawings.

Our work will involve the preparation of landscape layout planning to illustrate levels, drainage, dimensions, material selections, and location of all hardscape features. Next, we prepare the typical details, sections, and elevations to illustrate the design intent for all hardscape features.

4. Periodic Site Construction Observation Services: We will provide design clarification where required, during the construction phase, via fax, e-mail, or mail and finally assist the client.

This project is a playground located in a public park within a housing development, in the suburbs of Bangkok Residents are made up of people of various ages, including children, adults, and seniors. We offer activities that create interaction between the ages. and respond to behavior and development at various ages that are appropriate for children in each age group.

We chose this project to enter the competition because we think that design does not focus only on childhood, as we should not forget the relationship of children with their parents and the elderly who live together in the same society.

12What was the biggest challenge with this project?
The biggest challenge we had with the project was the fact that we needed to design something that responds to activities that will connect users of various ages, group-specific needs, and behaviors, between groups, tasks that answer children's diverse behaviors to be appropriate for their age development. It is a challenge but it will be interesting.
