1Can you introduce yourself and talk about how you got into photography?
I was born in 1989 in Moldova, Chisinau. In 2008 I discovered photography and realised that it will become my lifelong pursuit and passion. I prefer shooting portraits. Also I take great interest in travel photography.
I got into photography very slowly, from passion it became my lifetime aim. I was taking photos for my friends with a very simple, common camera. After, I won some contests so I could by a good camera for shooting and so my path starts.
2Where did you study photography?
I study photography by myself. Practice, analysis and passion helps me much to become better and better every time. I continue to learn, because I think there is no limits in arts and personal development.
3Do you remember your first shot? What was it?
My first shot was made home and it was a self-portrait. People also inspire me so I start from myself first.

I am using Fujifilm Xt2 camera and these lenses:

XF18-55mmF2.8-4.
5What do you hope to achieve?
I hope to achieve popularity and the name of one of the best portrait photographers on the planet.
6What compliment inspired/touched you the most?
I like to hear that my photos looks like a moment from movies but also that I captured not just the body's body, but also the soul of my model.
7What inspires your unique storytelling?
I am always inspired by people who I shoot. I like our deep connection, atmosphere belong the shooting and the result that will have a value for my models over the years.
8What THREE (3) words describe your photography style?
3 words that describes my photography style are Unique, Soul, Personal.
9Congratulations! As the winner of the London Photography Awards, what does it mean for you and your team to receive this distinction?
This is absolutely fabulous news for me! It means for me that I am at the right way and I want to continue, for sure.
10Can you explain a bit about the winning work you entered into the 2022 London Photography Awards, and why you chose to enter this project?
This is one of my newest images, from 2023. "The Creation" make part from big series of images made for artists, one very important for me.
I think it's one of the best images I have made past months, but also, it represents me as an artist so much... the creation is also about. anew beginning.
11How has winning an award developed your career?
The Gold Award is a great start for a photographer in 2023!
12Name 1-3 photographers who have inspired you.
My favourite photographers are Peter Lindbergh and Sebastiao Salgado.
13What was the best piece of advice you were given starting out, by a mentor or your role model?
Believe in yourself and trust your feelings.
14What advice would you give someone who would like to become a photographer today?
My advice is to learn hard, to listen to others, but make your own decisions and don't betray yourself so you'll create your unique style.
15What is your key to success? Any parting words of wisdom?
Follow your heart and it will guide you to happiness.
16How do you stay in that space of being receptive to new information and knowledge?
It's very important to remain receptive to new information, because it mean I will also develop as a photographer and personality.
