In recent years, my main works have focused on small single buildings, park landscapes, enterprise exhibition halls, large office places, and the health & medical industry. I have also done some product design work.
2What made you become/why did you choose to become a designer/artist?
The influence of family and growing environment, the love of regional humanistic culture, and the pursuit of ring aesthetics.
3Tell us more about your business/company, job profile, and what you do.
I am responsible for the daily operation of Tsukiyuxi (Xiamen) Co., LTD., and hold the position of Design Director.
4What does “design” mean to you?
For me, design is not only a formal or artistic creation but more importantly, a combination of science, philosophy, perception, and belief. Put it together, it is the designer's understanding of everything in life.
5What’s your favorite kind of design and why?
Modern minimalist design style, minimalist design needs to be condensed and accumulated for a long time, which can show people the soul of the percussion.
6To you, what makes a “good” design?
Break away from the simple art form, and meet the maximum harmony of human and architectural space.
7Tell us about your design process.
Begin by studying the basic raw materials, listening to the construction and user descriptions, building basic conceptual models, integrating the functions of materials and mechanical and electrical equipment to give space, and collecting the results of various professions.
8Do you think your country and its cultural heritage has an impact on your design process?
Yes, design comes from life, and human history is very important.

Thank you for this award, it is an affirmation of our past efforts and stimulates our expectations for the future.
10Can you explain a bit about the winning work you entered into the 2024 MUSE Design Awards, and why you chose to enter this project?
My submission is the top 100 enterprise in the world, and it is a large space design with a very dense staff capacity. This space needs to meet the use of a lot of people, so the design requirements of the space are very high. At the same time, it will be used as a LEED assessment project, so it has higher requirements for green energy-saving & environmental protection and comfort of people & space.
11What was the biggest challenge with this project?
How to give users a space to meet the physical and psychological requirements.
12What makes your country specifically, unique in the design industry?
The number of construction projects and open schools of thought.
13Where do you see the evolution of design industry going over the next 5-10 years?
The design work itself and the focus of the design project will become more and more scientific, personalized, customized, and energy-saving green requirements.
14 Tell us something you have never told anyone else.
I dreamt that my music would be performed by a symphony orchestra.
15Who has inspired you in your life and why?
People around me in life, because design is a practical science.
