Once called a "modern throwback," Flobo Boyce brings his high-energy brand of comedy to the stage. Having been raised with live action variety programs such as "The Tonight Show", "The Flip Wilson Show" and "Cedric The Entertainer Presents," Flobo's humor is cutting edge with a broad appeal. An accomplished former professional wrestling ring announcer, the Brooklyn, NY native believes in having the utmost "respect for the microphone."

I actually came from the technical side. I currently have an MFA in Film Production with an emphasis in Editing from Chapman University. It was in my years working with other projects such as American Idol and the BET awards than I tried my hand at doing things from the other side of the camera.

Hosting is something that comes with time and reps. Always overprepare your interview with subjects, but allow yourself to go off topic to foster an organic conversation.

Knew Amsterdam Entertainment takes a levity based approach to multiple content forms and shows. In a world that's polarizing an emphasizing our differences, our content strikes for an edgier take on "wholesome entertainment."

One that allows us the viewer to determine what's important in the frame.

I come across a show idea or topic and ask, "What can I do differently?" I come from the stand up comedy and professional wrestling world, so I like to bring a slice of showmanship to whatever I do.

It not only speaks of the quality of my work, but the dedication to release episodes on a consistent basis. I think that matters above all.

The biggest challenge is the timing. After Hours airs at 10PM Pacific LIVE every Monday and for a lot of guests, the time is less than ideal. But the ones that were able to make it have the best time when they arrive!

The United States really has embraced (or invented, really) the late night talk show format, so I was surrounded by programming like "The Tonight Show" for many years. Using that as a basis, being able to bring my own spin to the genre has been an absolute pleasure.

As a comedian and host, I was a big fan of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno has a child. I've also been a fan of Trevor Noah's work for many years as well.
