Hi, I’m Chen Yuchen, a designer from China. I used to study at the Nottingham Trent University. I’m currently living and working in Shanghai and London. I founded the creative agency named Absolutely Shock You in 2018. We provide our customers with brand design, visual system, and art guidance services.

I designed the whole anniversary event visual identity to create a friendly atmosphere, hoping to immerse students, parents, and teachers into the festive mode through unified visual graphics design.

I love drawing since I was a kid. I was once chosen to be an assistant for my art teacher in middle school. My parents also supported my passion and decided to send me to an Art University, majoring in visual communication design. I have always dreamt of becoming an active and valued designer in the realm of graphic design. I really love communication design and believe that creative design is in my DNA.

The initial idea was to design an event visual identity, featuring the characteristics of a school. When I was doing research about of the structure of the sculptures in the school, I realized that the sculptures themselves is a logo. The logo is a clean and distinct design. It communicates its purpose and quite decorative as an image.
