Ideas Design was founded in 2014. Lots of professional capability and experience have been accumulated during the five years. We have a strong design team and reputation for quality step by step developed our own space design brand and built brand recognition by word-of-mouth marketing. Lots of customer satisfaction works have been made. The turnover was over ten million in the first year and it’s getting better and better for the next four years. Three stores have been established in Taoyuan, Zhongli, and Hsinchu in Taiwan.
We take "people" as a starting point, paying attention to software and hardware combination, color and lighting of decoration. We believe a space atmosphere will make the quality of life different.
Led by director Chen, the young and professional design team provides top-quality dream building service and creates the most satisfactory space design in your mind with sincere service, seriousness, and enthusiasm for design. 3Congratulations! As the winner of the 2019 Muse Awards, what does it mean to you and your company and team to receive this award distinction?
This is our first Muse award and it’s just the beginning. We hope we can be recognized by Muse every year.
4Can you explain a bit about the winning work you entered into the 2019 Muse Awards, and why you chose to enter this project?
“Brisk 。 Relaxed” is designed for a factory that produces food-grade silicone products. For the company advocating the idea of environmental protection, we use recyclable environmentally friendly materials, without using excessive decoration materials. It’s an issue that requires attention all over the world and we hope to increase the awareness of environmental protection.
5What was the biggest challenge with this project?
The building is nearly 30 years old. There was a leaking problem and the lighting was inadequate.
6How has winning an Award developed your practice/career?
After winning the awards, we are more certain that good design can also be made without excessive decoration materials.
7What are your top three (3) favorite things about our industry?
Design, design, and design.
8What makes your country specifically, unique in the creative industry?
Highly value the use of space. People often admire designs for small space.
9Where do you see the evolution of creative industry going over the next 5-10 years?
Because of the cycle of recurring styles, "mix and match" will possibly become a trend.
10If you were a student entering this industry or an aspiring Muse Award submitter, what advice would you give them?
Insist and try your best to execute the right things and ideas, such as design and preserving the earth.
11What resources would you recommend to someone who wants to improve their skills in the creative industry?
Knowledge gained from the internet and books is limited. Visiting famous buildings or historical sites is recommended and you may have a different understanding.
12Who has inspired you in your life and why?
My children, because children’s smile is the purest. Design should return to purity either.
13What is your key to success? Any parting words of wisdom?
Design with a sincere heart every time.
