1Please give us a brief bio of yourself, your company, job profile, etc.
As an Associate Creative Director, I help the creative team innovate, collaborate, and problem-solve to deliver top work for our clients. I bring a passion for creating stand-out content with fresh and ground-breaking design, and work closely with designers and writers, challenging them to push boundaries and explore “what ifs”. I draw from vast campaign experience that includes print, digital, video and TV commercials.
2Tell us a bit about your business and what you do.
A digital agency obsessed with delivering more. We have a relentless focus on combining data, insights, and technology with creative design to drive engaging and high-impact digital experiences.
3Congratulations! As the winner of the 2019 Muse Awards, what does it mean to you and your company and team to receive this award distinction?
It means so much! It means all the hard work, late nights, numerous creative reviews have all paid off.
4Can you explain a bit about the winning work you entered into the 2019 Muse Awards, and why you chose to enter this project?
The work we entered is a beautiful dynamic design that reflects how fluidly mobile is interwoven with our lives and the seamless security MobileIron provides to protect it. We enjoyed close client collaboration on this project and are very proud of the results.
5What was the biggest challenge with this project?
The biggest challenge with this project was making the ‘ribbon’ shapes. Making sure the colors were just right and the gradients sat at the perfect angle to give it a 3-D look. And then re-creating it, tailoring it for multiple other assets.
6How has winning an Award developed your practice/career?
Winning awards validates how I think about our client’s business and my approach with our team. It gives me confidence to create more great work for them and others.
7If you were a student entering this industry or an aspiring Muse Award submitter, what advice would you give them?
Make sure you are submitting work that you not only are proud of, but you are proud to show the world. If you are second guessing an entry, it’s probably not a strong contender.
8What resources would you recommend to someone who wants to improve their skills in the creative industry?
Go outside. Online is a great recourse; however, go explore art galleries, museums and pop-up art installations. You never know what creativity will come to mind.
9Tell us something you have never told anyone else.
I lost sleep waiting for the results of these awards.
10What is your key to success? Any parting words of wisdom?
Be persistent and always be open to all ideas- no matter how impractical they might sound. You never know what will spark the next great idea.
11Do you have anything else you would like to add to the interview?
We are so grateful to have won these Muse awards and to be honored among all the other great agencies and high caliber of work.
