1Please give us a brief bio of yourself, your company, job profile, etc.
I'm a designer, a creative, I'm Redfish.
I like to tell ideas and products with images and words, colors and shapes to create a relationship with the public. My agency deals with developing projects for small and medium-sized companies, especially in the food & beverage sector. For us, it is important to create an identity for the brands and their products in a creative way but true to their values. In the agency, I cover the role of the Creative Director and every day it is stimulating to look for new ways and new ideas to promote our customers' products.
2Tell us a bit about your business and what you do.
Specifically, I deal with strategies and creative choices for a project.
I take care of the work from the brief to the production phase, supervising all the steps to ensure the highest quality for the customer.
3Congratulations! As the winner of the 2019 Muse Awards, what does it mean to you and your company and team to receive this award distinction?
Surely it is a prestigious and important award that will give visibility to the agency and its work. It will allow us to reach more important and prestigious clients, with more fascinating and ambitious projects.
4Can you explain a bit about the winning work you entered into the 2019 Muse Awards, and why you chose to enter this project?
The work chosen to take part in the competition was selected among the many of the agency because it best represents our work philosophy: to create a simple but impactful design, which represents and tells a story, which adheres to the values and objectives of the brand and the product.
5What was the biggest challenge with this project?
Surely the biggest challenge was to transfer millennia of history of a territory, the prestige of a brand and the quality of its products in a simple and immediate design.
6How has winning an Award developed your practice/career?
It will be a nice launching pad for our agency.
7What makes your country specifically, unique in the creative industry?
We are Italian, we are unpredictable and creative. What else?
8Where do you see the evolution of creative industry going over the next 5-10 years?
Creativity will increasingly be at the service of society, it will integrate with it to develop products and services that are increasingly connected and technological, without forgetting that every product or brand must always have a soul.
9If you were a student entering this industry or an aspiring Muse Award submitter, what advice would you give them?
Try anyway, to give yourself a chance against all expectations.
10What resources would you recommend to someone who wants to improve their skills in the creative industry?
Travel, read, stay young with the mind. Creativity must be fed with curiosity about the world and the things that surround us.
11Tell us something you have never told anyone else.
I never did an interview :)
12Who has inspired you in your life and why?
To tell the truth I could not answer this question. But perhaps the television of the 80s in Italy with its commercials, jingles and the iconic "Milan to drink", were elements that led me to pursue a career in the world of creativity
13What is your key to success? Any parting words of wisdom?
I am a humble person, no aphorism or pearl of wisdom.
14Do you have anything else you would like to add to the interview?
I am a person of few words, maybe in this interview, I said too many :). Thank you for giving me this opportunity.
