Thank you! Our team was thrilled to be a part of these projects and delighted to be able to share our customer’s success with their new sites by receiving these awards. We put passion into everything we do and being recognized for the work we produce for our clients is an extremely rewarding experience.
2Can you explain a bit about the winning work you entered into the 2019 Muse Awards, and why you chose to enter this project?
We chose to enter both of these web redesign projects because they were such drastic before and after transformations.
While these clients are quite different, Edgewood is a regional company in the competitive healthcare industry and NDTC as a rural telecommunication company, the projects both had a strong focus on making the user-experience as seamless as possible and updating the look and feel of the site to something more modern and aesthetically pleasing.
3What was the biggest challenge with this project?
For Edgewood, the biggest challenge we experienced throughout the project was to incorporate the vast amount of services and companies that needed to be present on the website in such a way that made it extremely easy for the consumer to navigate the website and find the information they were looking for.
The biggest challenge on the NDTC website redesign was to portray the cutting-edge technology they offer in rural North Dakota to accurately showcase their fiber-optic advancements and other innovative services in an attractive, simplified manner.
4How has winning an Award developed your practice/career?
Winning multiple international awards over the years has helped to boast our creative talent and expertise, which ultimately allows us to have more freedom in working with our clients to produce great work.
5What resources would you recommend to someone who wants to improve their skills in the creative industry?
Our go-to sources for skill improvement and development are trade publications, continuing education resources and participating in international award competitions to stay on top of the tech, design and overall marketing advancements in the industry.
6What is your key to success? Any parting words of wisdom?
The key to our success has always been spending a great deal of time understanding and learning about our customer’s business and target audiences to accurately and effectively speak and create on our client’s behalf.
