1Please give us a brief bio of yourself, your company, job profile, etc.
I am the Founder and CEO of Launch Marketing. I founded Launch in 2001 as a boutique marketing firm specifically geared towards Austin-based B2B tech companies in need of a virtual marketing team, and since then our client portfolio has grown to over 150 clients from across the globe.
Prior to founding Launch, I led marketing for a venture capital firm where drove marketing nationally and in the regional markets and I worked with portfolio companies in Austin to help bring their products to market. Before that, I was the fourth person in marketing at Trilogy Software where I grew and led the events marketing team which drove more than 50% of the company’s leads.
Launch started as a culmination of my natural entrepreneurial spirit and prior strategic marketing expertise and has since evolved to an award-winning firm committed to delivering exceptional results and service to every client.

Launch Marketing is an Austin-based marketing firm that works with B2B technology companies across verticals to streamline customer acquisition and accelerate revenue growth. As Founder and CEO, it’s my job to ensure we are committed to the core values I founded Launch on, while also staying nimble to the rapid evolution of the marketing industry.
Launch’s services in particular span from developing and executing go-to-market strategies, messaging and integrated marketing plans to ensuring our clients have a smoothly running marketing machine that generates leads and drives revenue for their company. We tailor our services to each client’s individual needs with the ultimate priority of empowering our clients by developing sustainable strategies and attainable goals. From stepping in as their Virtual VP of Marketing, to developing messaging strategies that support growth and scaling within their industry, our goal is to provide clients with meaningful expertise, guidance and execution every step of the way.

4Can you explain a bit about the winning work you entered into the 2019 Muse Awards, and why you chose to enter this project?
We nominated a direct mailpiece we created for a client of ours, Arena Solutions. Aptly titled the “Connected Innovation” Mailer, this dimensional mailpiece featured custom-branded packaging components and an Amazon Echo Dot to entice engagement with Arena’s top account leaders. To highlight their software solution and add an interactive component, succinct instructions guided recipients to a Launch-developed Alexa Skill that recited Arena’s benefits and fast facts on command.
From concept to execution, our team really translated the needs and goals of the client into an innovative solution that not only reflected their brand but drove impressive results simultaneously. As a result, we believed it would be a competitive contender for a Muse Award.
5How has winning an Award developed your practice/career?
As I mentioned before, winning a Muse Award continues to set the bar for our firm and underscore our commitment to delivering outstanding marketing solutions for clients. Our core values center around being results-oriented and passionate about everything we do, and awards like this drive our team to uphold that standard and find new ways to push the boundaries on innovation within our field.
