Since his company's inception in 2011, they have helped hundreds of businesses build their brand identity and grow their online presence. 1First, tell us about yourself, your company, job profile, etc.
I am the founder of Creative Click Media, a New Jersey­-based digital marketing agency specializing in web design, SEO, social media marketing and more. Since our inception in 2011, we have helped hundreds of businesses build their brand identity and grow their online presence. As a result, our company has doubled in revenue every year for the past five years as well as won numerous prestigious Muse Creative Awards for both our business and our work on client accounts. When I’m not helping businesses succeed online, you can find me running my yoga and lifestyle business Apeiron, getting involved in the local business community and going on adventures with my six-year-old son, Miles.
2Tell us a bit about your business and what you do.
Creative Click Media was founded on the belief that good design is good for business, and that design has a major impact on the way customers perceive and respond to the brands they interact with daily. Our award-winning team helps brands express themselves via creative solutions for the web and beyond by combining business, education, marketing, and design to develop winning strategies for clients.
3Congratulations! As the winner of the 2018 Muse Creative Awards, what does winning this award mean to you and your team?
We could not be more thrilled to have been honored with two awards as esteemed as the Muse Creative Awards for the second year in a row. Our team has been consistently pushing the envelope and taking bigger creative risks this past year, and to be recognized by some of the greats in our industry is so rewarding. We look forward to challenging ourselves to up the ante even further for our clients and within our organization for next year’s competition.
4Where do you see the evolution of creative industry going over the next 5-10 years?
Finding success in a creative industry is only going to get more complex in the next 5­10 years, as the marketing landscape continues to evolve towards one massive global network. The amplified connectedness of brands and consumers online regardless of their geographic location makes it crucial for those in creative industries to keep up with ­ if not ahead of ­ emerging trends, markets and technology worldwide. While this is a huge challenge, it’s the ideal challenge for those working in creative fields. This connectedness has increased the visibility and subsequent authenticity of brands and it will only continue to do so as technology further diminishes the distance between company and consumer. Those working in creative fields will need to flex their innovative muscles to produce engaging, shareable and genuine content ­ especially with a literal world’s worth of competitors to stand out against.
5What are your top three (3) favorite things about our industry?
1) The digital marketing industry is constantly evolving. It’s impossible to feel like your work is stagnant and stale when there is always new software launching, new technology releasing and new trends emerging. 2) The digital marketing industry requires a combination of skills. Gone are the days where an employee is expected to know how to do one thing and one thing only. The fluid nature of this industry requires marketers to always be expanding their craft. 3) The digital marketing industry is fast­paced and exciting. What’s popular today might literally be obsolete by tomorrow. This makes it important for marketers to be willing to learn and adapt quickly in order to stay current.
6Finally, what is your key to success?
The key to my success has always been staying hungry and staying humble. I’m never fully satisfied with where I am personally or professionally because there’s always so much room to do more, be more and create more. They say finding success is like climbing a ladder, but reaching that top rung doesn’t mean your work is done ­ it means it’s time to find a taller ladder. In that same vein, once you reach the top it’s important to remember where you came from. No level of success makes someone immune from making mistakes or learning something new. Stay humble, stay teachable, and never take yourself too seriously.
