It’s been over a year since the COVID-19 pandemic showed itself in the shores of Hong Kong, and while it’s not completely out of the shores yet, the Hong Kongers are still bravely fighting it by wearing masks and protecting themselves from it.
K11 MUSEA, a luxury shopping mall in Hong Kong, is doing the same as well ever since there was an outbreak at the end of February 2021 - with sanitization robots, of course!
The roving robots are in charge of regular sterilisation of the entire place, the air, and surfaces of every inch of the mall.
The video clearly shows them waltzing in and out of places, getting into some light-hearted mischief with the workers and passers-by in the process.
Tackling the pandemic in a light hearted way with a technological touch is a great way win the hearts of many, including a Canopus Winner in the Vega Digital Awards in the Digital Marketing category.
Going out to malls now may be detrimental to the overall well-being of the people near you, but K11 MUSEA may just be the place to visit when the pandemic’s over. Take a picture of these amazing robots and be surprised by their ‘sentience’!
