Focus Entertainment and Flying Wild Hog takes center stage in presenting the world with Evil West, undoubtedly the best action game of 2023!
There is no formula or good combination of what makes a good video game and Evil West, a third person action-adventure game compels you to embrace the beauty of what makes a video game unique to its own name. Its brute gameplay in a world that is overrun with vampires, werewolves and zombies, it has an old-school feel to how the game operates which undoubtedly elevates the game to an unsurpassed level that is very well on its way to becoming the best action games of 2023!
Evil West by Focus Entertainment and Flying Wild Hog takes place in an alternative universe in the 18th century, the player assumes the role of a star agent and an heir to Renteir Institute, Jesse Rentier. The institute consists of vampire hunters with high-technology weapons to slay vampires and any being that threatens the world’s existence. The player will shoulder great responsibility as the Rentier will be every man’s first choice in getting his hands dirty.
The video game promises a scenic backdrops that will make every player marvel at how much dedication was put into making the video game making it an interestingly nostalgic gameplay to experience. What was incredible to note was the diverse weapons and upgrades that players get to unlock as they progress to each level like increasing the number of shots one gets to fire in a magazine!
With such an intriguing gameplay, players are offered cooperative gameplay that will surely extend the recommended hours of facing the screen but it’s all worth it! Players also gets the chance to explore and take their leisure time to stroll about and learn about the lore surrounding this cinematic-nostalgic piece!
All this hype comes with great responsibility to live up to the standards and it certainly surpassed expectations! One particularly, the 2023 NYX Game Awards where it was the Grand Winner under the category of PC Game - Action.
