Starkey releases an all new hearing aid that has never looked and sounded better!
No human wants to admit that their body was not once like it was before but Starkey has managed to pierce through the barriers of ageism by developing Evolv-AI, a hearing aid that has revolutionize the hearing technology to a greater level by ensuring that users get the most out of the product effortlessly.
Compared to its predecessor in 2018, Starkey’s hearing aid is modeled after the human auditory system and is equipped with an additional 40% reduction in noise energy along with its 55 million personalized adjustments that automatically digests each sound every hour so as not to strain their energy into listening. Users also need not compromise on their daily lifestyle to accommodate the hearing aids as the device has a variety of designs that seamlessly fits into any lifestyle in vogue including individuals with Tinnitus (ringing or other noises in one or both ears that is not produced by external sounds).
Thrive is an application that is made available for users to personalize their hearing settings and document their memories. The application is able to connect to the device wirelessly with impressive assistive features which includes health trackers, FindMyPhone, Translate, Transcribe and Self Check which allows the users to perform a self-check without going out of their way to visit the doctor’s. Another feature that is arguably genius is Mask Mode, which helps the user listen better when people are wearing face masks.
These features in the application that notifies the contacts of the users of its fall is truly a valuable tool because elders are at fall risks. The pride to be remembered as a vigorous force is heightened and the need to be independent is ever present which at a certain age is very dangerous as accidents are bound to happen. These devices exist to solidify their existence and role in society without the shame and guilt they would have to encounter.
The company has shown a sense of benevolence by producing this device as the company went to great lengths to resolve the stigma that surrounds elders, the perception that being old and needing tools to go about their daily life is considered a boon than a bane. With Evolv-AI, it invites more elders to be comfortable in investing on a hearing aid without social stigma clouding their judgement.
