Not wanting to leave this world without giving our loved ones a final goodbye, Cloud of Legacy is helping us give them a Peace of Mind!
Everyone is aware of the fact that the time we have on Earth is finite. And at the end of our journey, death will come and take us to another place and we may or may not be afforded the opportunity to say goodbye to our loved ones and giving them the resolution that they need.
Wanting to make sure that every single person must have a final parting message before their time on this planet is up, Cloud of Legacy is there to help all of us record our final parting words to our friends and family stored in a safe and secure server long before our adventure comes to a fulfilling and climactic end. And displaying their services in action through their gut-wrenching and emotional cinematic video, Peace of Mind.
The 2-minute video revolves around three individuals, all of whom are dealing with the loss of a loved one. The entirety of the cinematic is shot in a rotating circle, alternating between the individuals that are still living and those who have passed a long time before and being a symbolic visualization that life and death is never two separate paths, but rather an infinite cycle meeting one another.
The first main character we are introduced to is Claire, a widow who recently lost her husband Frank. Frank has left her a video recording announcing his recent passing once she is watching this video and details her obsession with filing paperwork in an office. Here, he has already done that for her and he has organized important document and pieces of information in the Safe of Information. Such as passwords, insurance policies, emergency contacts and locations. Frank then gives his final parting words to Claire and giving her a peace of mind.
The second group of main characters shows a mother reading to her children the last handwritten will of their grandmother converted to a PDF file. The last testament by the grandmother reveals that while she does not have any personal belongings left of material value to pass down to her grandchildren, she instead gives them something that is worth more than its weight in gold: Her award-winning secret recipe for her apple strudel. Her final parting words to her grandchildren echoes with elderly wisdom on not worrying if they mess it up the first time as they still have an entire lifetime ahead of them to perfect it. All while both grandchildren and their mother are having fun trying to bake her world-famous apple pastry for the first time.
The final and last main character of the story focuses on the single-surviving brother. This time, the format that the second half of his sibling left his parting words is through a voice recording done through Cloud of Legacy’s software. His parting words to his still-living brother being that he should not sulk and be depressed at his loss forever. Instead, cherishing the moments that they have in the past and remembering the good times they had together. His last words being that he still has his entire life ahead of him, and he should go out into the world and explore them on his own and form his great big story. During the last words of his brother, we also see a couple of shots of him around a group of friends watching the best highlights of his life through videos stored in Cloud of Legacy’s servers and packing his camera in a bag for the big journey ahead of him.
Death is a natural part of life, and it can happen when we least expect. But in the event that it does, the best thing we can do to put our loved ones at peace of mind is leaving behind a legacy for them to remember by. Kudos to Cloud of Legacy and Final Frame for putting together an effective video that made even our heart crumble!
