Warner Media – Courageous Studios documented the highs and lows experienced by the patients of the Cleveland Clinic along with access to the workers of the clinic.
The Cleveland Clinic is a highly respected institution that has long existed since World War I and is still very much committed to fighting the diseases of today. To commemorate such a long standing clinic for its exemplary service to its country and people in saving lives, the Cleveland Clinic enlisted the help of the zealous Warner Media – Courageous Studios to launch “A Century of Care” which spotlights the many elements of this very foundation.
The Good Samaritans at the Cleveland Clinic grants access to surgeons, patients and leading academics in a 40-minute documentary film that was aired on HLN, CNN’s streaming platform and Hulu. A trilogy of shorter accompaniment films spotlights the riveting stories told by the patients along with scenes of the crew accompanying individuals and families into operating theatres and waiting rooms to portray authenticity and immediacy.
The 40-minute documentary and 3 short films detailed Cleveland Clinic’s heart-wrenching stories of real family tragedies and triumphs and ended it with a new sense of purpose that would only nurture its ambition to deliver the best possible care to its patients and its community. This documentary that was produced by the dedicated team of Warner Media – Courageous Studios perfectly captured the institution’s drive in providing care for its patient as well as documenting the highs and lows families face behind hospital walls which really spoke volumes where viewers felt a newfound respect for life and the people around them.
In creating and memorializing a legacy, the rawness and emotional altitude that was captured earned Warner Media – Courageous Studios and the Cleveland Clinic the Grand Winner of 2022 from the NYX Video Awards under the category Video/Film/Web Based Productions – Corporate Image. This award has only spurred both institutions to continue providing impeccable service to its people.
