Not wanting to see students be bogged down with financial burdens, Chickpt’s Chick Coin video helps them achieve their long-awaited dreams!
Mowing the lawn. Washing cars. Being yelled at by angry customers at a fast food drive-through. We’ve all done some pretty unfulfilling part-time work just to scrape together a few bucks just to save up for our attainable dreams. It is seen by many of us as an inconvenience and just a means to an end. To some, it’s a matter of life and death and a means of not going to sleep hungry.
Today, there is an abundance of websites, apps and platforms that help students that are not doing well financially to take up part or full-time jobs to support themselves and possibly buy the things they always wanted. Chick Coin is an animated video about two penguins, representing the students who are struggling financially. Both of them staring at a wall of television monitors with false promises of fortune and rags to riches stories. Suddenly, a golden device with a coin slot appears from the ground in front of them. With nothing left to lose, they deposited their very last coin and is transported to a vibrant world filled with financial opportunity.
From here, we see our avian protagonists soar across the air with many comedic graphical depictions of wealth appearing across our screens in bright pastel colors. Flying through clouds made from solid gold coins and riding in a bathtub filled to the brim with cold hard cash, it would seem that our once struggling students have now overcome their financial burdens as we zoom out to get a better look at the world that they are residing in now. An eclectic and gorgeous mess of caricatures depicting wealth and students colliding with each other in this wonderful utopia.
We then return to the real world, where everything appears to be warmer and a brighter place that our main protagonists stood. Signifying that they have indeed achieved their dreams thanks to the opportunity presented to them.
Today, there are countless opportunities for students everywhere to easily apply for part and full-time jobs quickly and easily to financially support themselves.
