These esteemed judges are experts in their respective fields within the architectural and design industry; each of these influential figures plays a crucial role in shaping the NY Architectural Design Awards, helping to recognize and celebrate some of the most esteemed, award-winning designers within the architecture community.
Artem Kropovinsky
Artem Kropovinsky is a renowned interior designer with over a decade of experience. As the founder of Arsight, a New York-based design studio, his work spans residential and commercial sectors, earning him recognition as a finalist in the NYCxDESIGN Awards. Known for blending contemporary trends with cultural heritage, Artem integrates Virtual and Augmented Reality into his projects, enhancing client experiences through immersive visualizations.
His collaborations with luxury property developers have boosted both aesthetic and financial value, while his leadership fosters growth within his design team. Artem's holistic approach, combining historical reverence with modern design, is exemplified in notable projects like the Weyanoke Hotel and Catbird Restaurants.
Ishita Gaur
Ishita is an accomplished associate urban designer and planner at Marvel, a renowned multi-disciplinary firm with offices in New York, San Juan, Richmond, and Barcelona. With extensive experience in vision plans, master plans, concept designs, and stakeholder engagement, Ishita focuses on the social, economic, and cultural dynamics that shape cities and urban environments. Her design philosophy is rooted in inclusive processes, ensuring that community engagement and stakeholder collaboration are integral to the planning process, fostering consensus and equitable outcomes.
In addition to her role at Marvel, Ishita serves on the Board of Directors for Snug Harbor, co-chairs the Junior Board of the non-profit Asia Initiatives, and was a recipient of the Urban Design Forum's prestigious Forefront Fellowship in 2018. She was also part of the Beverley Willis Architectural Foundation’s Emerging Leaders Class of 2019, reflecting her dedication to leadership and innovation in urban design.
Khaled Elnems
Khaled Elnems, a distinguished Abu Dhabi-based R&D Innovations Quality Control expert, brings extensive experience as a jury member on the Committee for International Engineering Invention & Innovation Exhibitions. He is also a co-founder and Head of Delegation for International Innovations Exhibitions in Egypt and the UAE, where he passionately advocates for young inventors, representing their interests at both local and international events.
With a commitment to empowering women and marginalized inventors, Khaled actively promotes collaboration and support within the innovation community. His efforts enable these inventors to gain international recognition and rewards, highlighting his dedication to fostering inclusivity and opportunity in the field of engineering and innovation.
