1First, tell us about yourself, your company, job profile, etc.
Drawing upon my collective background in branding, design, fine arts, consultation and marketing, I love to develop unique brands and web presences for clients all over the world.
PaperStreet has been helping our clients impress and get results since 2001. Although we work mostly with law firms, we’ve assisted medical and business professionals as well as non-profits.
I’m lucky enough to lead an incredibly talented team of designers here at PaperStreet, each with our own unique strengths and styles that complement each other so well.
2Tell us a bit about your business and what you do.
Since the majority of our clients are in the legal field, our job is to help them stand out in a very competitive crowd. We have the challenge of finding what their differentiating factors are and highlighting those in their online presence. Many of our clients have a variety of goals with their brand and website; we have the resources, wits, talent, experience, and knowledge to accomplish those goals.
3Congratulations! As the winner of the 2018 Muse Creative Awards, what does winning this award mean to you and your team?
We’re grateful for every award we receive and each one is a reminder of the hard work, fortitude, and personal attention we give to our projects!
4What are your top three (3) favorite things about our industry?
• INSPIRATION – it’s all around us now, there is no shortage of ideas and resources!
• SELF-EXPRESSION – as creatives, we need to be able to express ourselves freely and I see that there are no limits in our era of time – how lucky are we?!
• FUN – We get to have fun every day with our jobs! Design and art are hobbies or therapy for some, and for us, it’s work! Again, we are some lucky friggin people to be in this industry!
5Who has inspired you in your life and why?
My mom. Actually both my mom and dad showed me that I can be a powerful successful woman regardless of what industry I chose. They encouraged me to be anything I wanted to be that made me happy. Thankfully, they never imposed their own career desires or concerns on to me.
6If you could give one piece of advice to someone considering a career in creative industry, what would it be?
If you’re passionate about being creative, then keep at it. Dig deep and find what makes you tick and what you could be really good at. Get your hands dirty with whatever you need to do or learn, ask for advice, and mentorship (always). Then… don’t stop or give up.
