In developing the project, the design team focused on aesthetics, concepts, and techniques while incorporating the current IP attributes favored by Generation Z. This approach has resulted in a vibrant, engaging, and cool atmosphere throughout the entire space.
Located in Hexie Shiji Square in Kunming, Yunnan, the Grace PARTY K flagship store covers an area of 2300 square meters. During designing, the team re-planned the space by conducting deep field investigations. They transformed the windpipes into beautiful caves and the beams into captivating scenes, using the "cave culture" of Yunnan's local natural characteristics as the breakthrough point.
The design of the Grace PARTY K flagship store aims to let consumers re-examine the commercial entertainment space from a new perspective, inject new vitality into the store, and break its traditional stereotype. In building the project, the design team considered aesthetics, concepts, and techniques, while also integrating current IP attributes pursued by Generation Z. The entire space presents a vibrant, engaging, and cool atmosphere.
In constructing the entire project, light serves as a guide for the spatial route, combining with shadows and space to create a dreamy and immersive sensory experience. The lobby area features a grand-scale design with curved and layered mirror walls that express the cave-like spatial flow, imparting a sense of mystery and ritual to the space. Lights of varying colors blend with the metallic design elements, blurring the line between reality and illusion. This feature adds a sense of anticipation for the forthcoming music festivals.
Through the concept of the original cave, the interface between people and space is visualized, reconstructing the entertainment and communication space before the birth of civilized order. The caves, combined with spheres and walls, form the interface of the entire space, making the relationship between people and space both independent and permeable. This innovative approach not only addresses the structural challenges of the building but also creates an engaging and immersive environment for consumers.
As you venture further, the art corridor leading to private rooms acts as a natural guide. The interplay of light and darkness, connects the private and public areas, leading visitors into scenes with different themes and creating a varied space-time experience within a limited area. The design extends the private room area into the public space, utilizing materials like black titanium with a mirror reflection effect, fiberglass, and aluminum veneer. Combined with colorful lighting, this creates a cool and intriguing light-shadow environment, enhancing the space's sense of fashion and fantasy and increasing consumer interest.
By integrating these elements, Grace PARTY K successfully injects new vitality into the commercial entertainment space, breaking traditional stereotypes and appealing to the dynamic interests of Generation Z, making it a winner of the TITAN Property Awards in the Interior Design - Sports / Entertainment category.
