When tasked with showcasing the engineering prowess of the Aston Martin DBX707 | Power with no equal, AltSpace knew a standard car commercial especially a distinguished brand for Aston Martin, would not suffice. Their goal was to peel back the sleek exterior to expose the intricate mechanics powering this beast. They crafted a narrative through a series of seven CGI films, each unveiling a different aspect of the car’s sophisticated engineering, culminating in a hero film that truly embodies the vehicle's essence.
This required them to digitally reconstruct the DBX707's complex inner workings—a challenge compounded by the absence of actual 3D models for many critical components. Leveraging extensive research, their own deep industry knowledge, and detailed photographs from Aston Martin, they managed to accurately and vividly recreate these parts in CGI.
This project had to be more than just displaying the car, it was about telling the story of its design and capabilities through visual artistry. The absence of ready-made 3D models could have been a stumbling block, but it instead fueled their creativity.
