The United States based concept brings revolutionary ideas that would boost productivity and communication in a virtual office.
COVID-19’s presence in this world still lingers and has undoubtedly affected today’s society in living which includes how the world works. NewDays is a cross-platform conceptual product that can be used to adapt to counter the pandemic’s repercussions as working from home has left employees disconnected and the challenge of leading a team in a virtual setting has grown to be difficult.
NewDays hands managers tools to sustain team morale, oversee performance, identify problems flagged by members and welcoming new employees, tasks that were done in an office is now made available on a virtual platform. The application intends on supplying a friendly and productive tool that can be used in the workplace, eliminating the dangers of contracting COVID-19 in an office setting as some might not be keen to return to the office just yet.
The dashboard is a page where a summarization of tasks will be displayed that requires their utmost attention. To lighten up the mood on this virtual office platform, welcome cards are animated cards that are made available to share with the employees and spark a little joy! The project page is where an overview of all projects are in full view with its timeline and there is also a section where relevant resources are placed to help transition work more smoothly. The kudos page is where managers can highlight team member’s performance in an informal way and it also allows managers to identify and give credit where its due to its employees!
NewDays’s initiative in constructing a safe, friendly, organized and empowered workplace has proven to be fruitful as they have received positive feedback. Their dedication to this initiative was recognized by the 2022 VEGA Digital Awards under the category Apps & Softwares – Best User Interface/ Experience with a Centauri Medal.
