Our friends from Inspired eLearning, LLC. In the US has done it once again with their new winning-video on protecting your company’s sensitive data against outside threats with a new episode of the entertaining and informational video series, Tales From CPU City.
Titled “Tailgating” (no, not that kind of tailgating!), this latest release of the edutainment series proves that no matter how much money you can spend on firewalls, servers, and other software to protect your company data online. You are no match for one hacker, a USB drive, and a couple of cardboard boxes.
The video starts with another sunny day in CPU City when it is suddenly attacked by an invading force. Determined to know the cause of this dire situation, the Commander calls upon Private File to identify the first red flags that led to this catastrophe.
Displaying the real-life footage through Private File’s own screen, a nondescript individual waits outside of an office building carrying a stack of boxes waiting for someone to open the doors for him. Soon, an employee arrives and lets him in without a second thought.
Once inside, the individual places the boxes down on a table and plugs a USB thumb drive into a PC to extract information. Thus completing the quick, yet insightful lesson on ‘tailgating’.
Inspired eLearning, LLC. has once again given us an excellent lesson in protecting our private data from physical external forces and also various steps on how to further enhance our data’s defenses against situations like these!
There is another type of individual that everyone should be aware about, and MAMA will teach you how to deal with them here!
