Amidst busy schedules and a hectic lifestyle, more people are opting to dine out instead of preparing their own meals at home. Young diners in particular make up the majority of consumers dining out. With plenty of choices out there, Instagram marketing plays a huge role in the restaurant industry.
Youngsters simply decide the eatery they would like to have their meals at by the pictures they see on Instagram. Looking at the numerous Instagrammed food pictures, it almost seems like people are ‘eating’ visually. This hype provides a challenge for the restaurant industry as these group of people decisions on dining are upon Instagrammable value.
